Infedility
Infedility, the word which is synonymous with marital disloyalty, adultery,a breach of trust. This term has been associated with many indian men and women. Being dishonest with your spouse was something which was not a big deal in countries abroad but in india if your married to someone you ought to be honest to him/her whether you like them or not. But this was until yesterday. Today its a differnet scenario altogether. Why has this caught up India out of the blue. well i would say its only now that it has come into light. This was always there in our country but was never out in the open. Iam sure most of us would have watched the evergreen Yash Chopra movie starring Mr.Bachan, Silsila where he is being disloyal to his wife by secretly seeing his ex lover. I remember that movie released in the 80s. Today there is KANK. The only difference between the two is that then there was no sex but now sex is the only motive why partners are being disloyal to each other. The reasons why this is happening according to my personal opinion are - married out of force (forced to leave your lover to marry the person of your parents choice), partner being impotent, partners live lives apart due to career demands, partner is too involved with his/her career that they have no personal space for their spouse. These are just some reasons i can think of. Now what makes them make the bold move - financial independence, my-partner-is-too-busy-to-notice-all-this attitude etc. How can you stop your partner from being unfaithful to you. In a country where traditions, culture, marriage customs etc are just a mere word, infedility is growing by leaps and bounds. This leads to single parenthood, divorces, murder, suicide. With corruption, rape, murder, terrorism we have a new issue added Infedility. Are marriages still made in heaven or have they outsourced it to hell??
