Something about the way you look tonight

They say "beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder". Tonight, London had never looked more beautiful or should i say breathtakingly beautiful . After spending the whole day fruitlessly (is'nt that the opposite of fruitfully..whtever), i decided to go for a jog along the thames path in the evening. With U2's song 'with or without you' playing on my i-pod i was all set to jog along the thames. With the festive mood all set i saw xmas trees lit in beautiful lights. Every house seems to be shouting out load 'christmas is here'. Canary wharf (the one in the pic above)has never looked this beautiful, with its sky scrappers giving a beautiful sight from my house, to me it has never looked more splendid like it did today. A breath of fresh air blowing on my face, i felt rejuvenated. The thames rivers movement never sounded more melodious like this before. This evening was a real treat to my eyes. But why today, is'nt it the same london that i have been living in for the past one year or has my eyes become more tasteful, more appreciative or was it because of the song i was listening to - Elton John's 'SOmething about the way you look tonight'. If you were with me and had you seen through my eyes you will never fail to agree.
