Two days back i met this very old friend online. We were generally chatting and then he started talking about his lost love and stuff. It so happens that the girl he loved is now married and settled and he is not able to forget her and move on. Welcome to the real world. How many of us have heard about love stories having sad ends. This is just another one. My question is why is someone so affected when he or she fails in love. Is'nt it just a feeling? can't we just let go of it? Its easier said than done says my friend. He blames the circumstances, His parents beliefs and his family culture. Are'nt we living in the 21st century? Does things like cultural difference, religion, caste and creed still exists. In india yes it does. When we have so blindly adopted to the western culture why are we still lagging behind in this aspect. In the far east and west loving and breaking up is just another stuff people do. But why is it so easy there and so goddamn difficult in our country. Dont they also have a heart, dont they also have feelings, are'nt they human as well? And you may just hear someone say that the westerners have no tradition hang ups or culture of their own but in india even today love has a lot of importance, its the main source of inspiration for Yash chopra and karan johar movies. Shahrukh khan cannot survive if there was'nt something called love in our country. DDLJ, Maine Pyar Kiya was a hit coz indians are in Love with Love. As long as there is love and as long as there is western influences clashing with indian traditions and beliefs you will find love that has been successful and love that has failed.
As long as the world exists there will be love and as long as there is love there will be heart breaks. So if you have a broken heart how will you mend it? Why can't all those who have lost their love learn to move on in life, find new love and lead a happy life than to sit and sulk all day and night thinking how good their life would have been if only they had married the one they loved. Afterall god has given us one life that is so wonderful and special you dont want to waste it do you. Remember the clock is ticking.
