Wishful Shrinking

I came across the above cartoon and laughed my ass out. But it got me thinking. Everyday our major worry is weight gain. Every little food you eat you watch or rather you have to watch what your eating. A place like london which is one of the fashion capitals of the world like Newyork and paris, is full of women and men who are running to gyms, aerobics or seen jogging at odd times sweating it out to lose those or to maintain the weight. Looking at them i wonder that my weight which in india would be medium built but here i feel like obese. Ekkksss, that would be anyones worst nightmare is'nt it. For me especially after coming to london i have certainly gained back all that i lost before my wedding and till today i curse the city for doing this to me. So one fine morning i woke up and told my husband that this wont work, lets join a gym. After 2 months of hardly working hot not working out hard we both didnt see the result. Hence opted to join aerobics which promised some sweat shed. Meanwhile i fell ill and this disease is not so promosing either for weight reduction. In a place like london where you see women slim and fit the last thing you want is a unfit, fat body whose clothes size in shops are available in plenty simply because woman like me are few and my size available in plenty. So here iam on a mission to cut back to fit into the demanding sizes and this is not wishful thinking.
