My trip to heathrow on the 3rd of july was quiet a memorable one. My co-sister (husband's brothers wife) and her son were leaving to India by the 10 in the night and we leave my house at 5 (my house is pretty far off from heathrow- well whose house is'nt?). So we have 4 quiet small but relatively heavy luggages and decide to take the london underground instead of a cab. There starts our journey to the neverland (i swear i felt we will never get to the airport that day). We had to change 2 trains. The first one we managed to squeeze in (at 5 the london undergrnd is as bad as the mumbai metro). Then we got to this station called green park from where we take another train that goes to the heathrow international airport. With that luggage and a 5 yr old boy we 3 adults gettng off a busy stattion and off to another crowded line and on our way to catch the next train, an announcement comes "due to an emergency situation all are asked to leave the station". Now with that luggage and the kid we take the emergency exit which is like a thousand steps up. by the time we got there i thought we are already dead. Then we decide to take the cab but the greenpark station opens after 10 mins so we decide to take the train. Now that train was so full that we had to fight our way in (we didnt have a choice, the flght was on time despite the bomb scare that morning at terminal 4). so with the luggage and the kid in we go. Finally we reach heathrow and we take breather. After we saw them off, we left heathrow hoping that very soon we are going to come back to this place. No no not to receive some one but to get back to India forever. Oh heathrow when will i see you again...
