Connecting with Luck, bollywood style mein

I have been wanting to see this flick for quiet sometime now and finally saw it today and i must say iam not very disappointed actually. Every time i told people that i wanted to see Kismat Konnection, most of them told me not to waste my time on that one cause its a very bad watch. That drove me to a point where i got very inquisitive to watch it. Now heres my review for it.

Raj Malhotra the college topper,Mr.Popular just could not understand why lady luck is'nt smiling at him. Everytime he tries to do something, it just would'nt work, from starting his car to withdrawing money from the cash machine. One fine day he meets priya, the moment he does, luck seems to be walking hands in hands with him. He meets Haseena bano jaan, a fortune teller who says she is his trump card and asks him to hold on to her. Raj does just that. He tags her along to whatever he decides to do and everything goes just fine, in the process of getting his things sorted he lies to her and one fine day, well you guessed it right, he falls in love with her. She comes to know that he had been lying and bang she walks into the house with the statement ,'Raj tune muje dhoka diya, but i loved you' and he pleads to her and she walks out. In the end he tries to be honest and trusts his own luck. It still would'nt work, in walks his lady luck and things look up again. He wins his dream contract. Thats Kismat Konnection.

You may wonder whats the contract and whats the lie. You will have to watch the movie for that darlings. Now my verdict. The story is a plain copy from a hollywood chik flick. But very well made in the bollywood ishtyle. The Canada Backdrop was good. Music has a combination of foot tapping and soothing numbers. Shahid Kapoor lites up the screen with his chocolate boy looks and great screen presence. You all will agree that dance comes so easy to him. Vidya Balan, Miss.Misfit, badly dressed, she looks too old for Shahid though she gels well with the girl next door character and does acting pretty well i think someone else could have suited better there. Juhi Chawla's looks might just remind you of Whoopi Goldberg. She has done justice to her role and comedy comes so easy to her.Bomman Irani's entry was quiet a surprise but his role in the end was totally predictable, sirf movie mein hi aisa ho saktha hai types. I liked the movie as its a totaly timepass from beginning to end and is worth a one time watch.
