Today i am sitting in the living room of our friend's place here in Singapore and recollecting all those wonderful days of childhood where though we never got a chance to go to the places abroad the excitement of welcoming our dads back from the foreign land seemed more thrilling. Even to this day i would love to re-live those days than to actually visiting the place and shopping for myself.
In search of an identity that is long lost in a pile of dirty dishes, laundered clothes, dinky cars and lego blocks.Welcome to the world of a stay-at-home mom who is still figuring out things for herself while helping her kindergartner figure out his growing little world.

Finally..but the joy is incomparable
Visiting Singapore was always like a distant dream during my childhood days. When i was a kid my dad, periappa and chitappa used to visit this place for official reasons. Me and my brothers and sisters had more reasons to cherish their trip to Singapore simply because the whole lot of goodies that they bring along with them in those big suitcases. The night before morning they come back the trip was always an exciting one wondering what is it that my dad and uncles have bought for us from the wonderland,Singapore. The suitcase opening was a big ceremony with the whole family standing around the Pandora box ( i would like to call it that) and waiting for it to be opened. What comes out of it brings oodles of joy and a big wide grin on all our faces. Then next thing we want to do to flaunt the lovely pencil box, the school bags, the pencils, crayons and the Disney character erasers to our friends back in school.
